A new flight route between Colombia and Panama
A new flight route between Barranquilla and Panama has been established by Aero Republica, which is a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, the Panamanian Airline group. The service is set to run three times a week, and will operate with the Embraer 189 aircraft. This new service is in conjunction with and will complement existing Copa Airline flights to and from Colombia and Panama.
In additional news pertaining to the Copa Holdings and Aero Republica, media reports confirmed that Copa Holdings have renewed a three year maintenance agreement with Panama Aerospace Engineering. The deal includes the maintenance, overhauls and repairs for both Copa and Aero Republica’s fleet of Embraer 190 and Boeing 737 airplanes which are made up of a total of 54 aircraft.
